Me

Here I am with my little dog Cupcake (I’m the one in the glasses).  I’m a former teacher, a children’s author and poet, a volunteer reader of books on tape for the blind, and a college supervisor of student teachers.  Cupcake is a former rescue, a lover of treats, toys, and people, and a certified therapy dog.

I’m new at blogging, but determined.  In a perfect world, my blog should serve as a look into the writing life of a picture book author.  These days, my writing life consists of figuring out how, why, and whether to be a blogger.  The jury is still out on that one.  Any advice?
